For Flavored Vodka the optimal storage conditions to preserve quality and shelf life focus on controlling temperature light exposure sealing bottle position and humidity:

- Temperature: Store at a consistent cool room temperature between 15°C to 18°C (59°F to 64°F). Avoid extreme heat which can accelerate degradation and avoid freezing since prolonged cold dulls delicate flavors typical of premium vodkas. Slightly cooler than room temperature such as a cellar or a cool dark cabinet is beneficial. Refrigeration or freezing is not necessary and can mask flavor nuances.

- Light exposure: Keep the bottle away from direct sunlight and UV rays. Light exposure can alter taste and sometimes color accelerating oxidation and degrading the spirit over time. A cool dark place is ideal for both unopened and opened bottles.

- Sealing: Always ensure the bottle is tightly sealed after each use to minimize air infiltration. Exposure to air speeds up oxidation which degrades flavor and aroma. Using the original cap or cork is best. Avoid transferring vodka to decanters as they do not prevent oxidation and may increase air contact.

- Bottle position: Store bottles upright to prevent the seal (especially corks) from prolonged contact with the liquid which can degrade the seal or impart off-flavors. Upright storage also helps avoid leaks and maintains seal integrity.

- Humidity: Moderate stable humidity is advisable to maintain the integrity of the cork or cap seal especially if the bottle has a cork closure. - Unopened bottles can be stored much longer under these conditions potentially for decades (up to 50 years in some instances) without quality loss assuming the seal remains intact and no extreme conditions are encountered.
