- Temperature: Store absinthe in a cool spot slightly below or around room temperature ideally between 55-60°F (13-16°C). Avoid excessive heat or cold as it can degrade the flavor compounds or cause unwanted crystallization. Do not refrigerate or freeze the bottle because low temperatures (below 68°F/20°C) may cause anethole the essential aromatic compound to crystallize and affect clarity and taste.

- Light Exposure: Keep absinthe away from direct sunlight or bright artificial light. Light exposure can degrade the aromatic plant compounds and cause color fading especially for naturally green(absinthe verte) altering both appearance and flavor.

- Sealing: Ensure the bottle is tightly sealed after every use to prevent oxidation which can gradually diminish flavor quality.
